We're excited to know you're thinking about visiting! Bexley UMC offers two Sunday morning services. Our Contemporary service starts at 9:00 am & a Traditional service at 11:00 am. All services offer children's programming. For more specific information, visit the About page. Below are a few things to help make you feel at home.
Touring the Facility
If you'd like to tour the facility, we'd be glad to show you around either during the week or on a Sunday. Simply fill out the form on this page and someone will get back with you to schedule a tour or call our office at (614) 231-2781
What to expect
When you arrive for a Sunday service, there are two entrances facing East Broad Street and a handicap accessible entrance in the parking lot off South Remington Road. When you enter the church doors, make your way to the first floor and follow the signs to the worship space. We will have greeters to guide you to where you need to go. We offer coffee and bagels before and after services.
Registering Children Prior to Arrival
BUMC has an optional pre-registration process to help make your first visit go smoothly. Simply complete the form on this page by Thursday at noon prior to the Sunday you'll be visiting. Your child(ren) will then be entered into the system prior to visiting. The Children's Check-in area is located by the Sanctuary.
We encourage anyone with children visiting for the first time to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the service time in order to check-in any children attending classes and find a seat in the Sanctuary. We encourage all children to sit with their parents/guardians the first quarter of service before they will be dismissed to their classes on the second floor.
Pick-up will be after service has ended. Children will wait in their classrooms until a parent/guardian comes and picks them up.
